We are....

the Missionaries.

Have I ever told you that I love the sister missionaries? Well, it is true...I do. Especially when they do funny stuff that makes me laugh! Sister Madsen has this awesome talent of doing different accents, and well French is one of them, and she does it really well. Well I must tell you why is b/c she took 3 years of French in high school which I didn't know till last week, but you learn more everyday! Well, here is a video of her saying my favorite thing in the whole world. "We are the Missionaries!"

Enjoy!

Paintin!

I love to paint, I would have to say it one of my top 5 favorite things. I paint walls, faces, canvases, and well just about anything I feel needs a little something something. My good friends the Cheney's moved to Great Bend! Which I am pretty sure makes me the happiest person ever...so they needed some TLC for their new house, so Dedra invited myself and the missionaries over to help paint, and of course we were all on top of that in a heart beat, so on my day off we did a little painting! We painted the walls and well my hair and all sorts of other things! Here is the proof of the carnage!

What are you doing Dedra? Well, she is a beauty school dropout for sure!

Eww don't lick the paint...SICK

The true feelings right there!

Well, there you have it, video and photos of the sweet painting action, what sucks is I failed to take pictures of the havoc that was reeked on our clothing. My shirt got a nice coat of brown so I could blend in to the wall, Brother Cheney's butt crack got a nice coat of brown also. Then after Dedra put the first stroke of blue in my hair I dipped my hand in brown paint and smacked her in the behind and left my mark forever. It was a great day in the long run, and I left very tired/sore, plus I woke up the next morning barely able to walk, but all is good!

The Zoo!

Well, this happened forever ago, but I am lamesauce and haven't posted it yet and well, since I am off tomorrow I am staying up late to do some much needed updating to the ole' blogity blog!

So, the jist of this is the neato pictures/videos, but I must say I made the girls do these things (a.k.a feed the bear a leaf!) I took the girls to the Zoo here in Great Bend for one of their P-days, and these are the results, I know I had a lot of good laughs and so did they! I hope you all enjoy!

"Don't feed the bears" Whoops!

Do not feed!

American Gothic redo?

Turtle Turtle!

I have a pet turtle, many know that Hna Madsen didn't. So one night over at Alex's house we were entertaining Bryce (6 yrs old) and she did a turtle imitations, and I about died due to it looking almost identical to my turtle Escape`.

Disclaimer: She might not realize this is on the web, so don't necessarily point it out to her that you saw it!

Bike Surfin'

This is a "brain child" of Sister Madsen/Higbee while they were on exchanges together up in Hays. Ya see, when you are riding super fast on your bike, you go with "no hands" and then when you get that going well, then you slowly stand up and start "riding" the "waves". Enjoy b/c you know I do!

Surfin' and Basketball!

The first week Hna Madsen was here we wen't playing basketball at the church for a P-day activity! And this is what was produced, her being a goofball as I would soon figure out was her "normal" way of life! In which I love to death....makes me look less goofy!

Sister Madsen showing me her sweet skills....

Surfin' lessons from the Californian...

I said act "dead" so Hna Madsen cracks a smile like that..NICE

Hay!

Okay so what does a gay horse eat?

HAAYYYYYYY!!!!

Sorry lame joke, and it is much better in person, ask me sometime!

So speaking of hay, here is the video/pictures of Hna Madsen/Sister Gundersen enjoy Kansas's plentiful fields of nothing but hay bales....they had been jones'n to get on one and take a picture. It was a p-day and we had just gone to the Zoo and thought we would go get the pictures they desired...here they are...quite funny how this all took place, too bad no one was there to witness it!

Sunflowers!

Sister Madsen has been bugging me since day one of her arrival in Great Bend to find a sunflower field. Well, I had to inform her that they were not in season and that she just had to hold her horses, so she was impatiently waiting to find a field. Well last week we went to Hays and drove past a sunflower field so on our way home I stopped and we had a little photo shoot in the field. It was awesome! I truely love the girls, they are amazing and make me laugh. I hope you all enjoy the pictures!

P-day fun in Salina

P-day for you non LDS members out there equals "Preparation day" which means that the missionaries get one day to clean their apartment from top to bottom, wash their car, do their grocery shopping, check e-mail/write letters to family/friends. They have from 10 am to 6 pm to do those things. Well this P-day we had a "district" get together, which in definition means that the Salina District of missionaries which includes the Sisters in Hays and Great Bend and then the Elders in Salina. The Elders had a family invite all of us over and put together some fun activities for us to do together. We had a Scripture scavenger hunt, a find the tootsie roll in powder sugar thing, and then feed each other pudding while blind folded, and then some water balloons and soccer! It was AMAZING, it was a long drive but I would do anything for the Missionaries so I drove the Hays/Great Bend sisters there for a 3.5 to 4 hour visit..so more time on the road but so goes life! Here is a slideshow of pictures and then a few videos! Enjoy!

Find the tootsie roll in a pan full of powdered sugar!

Sister Madsen and I feeding each other pudding...so gross but yet funny as can be!

Sister Ayala and Sister Higbee taking their turn....they didn't like it at all..
